Prior to Brandeis, Katherine worked as an event planner in Boston, working with corporate clients such as WorldBoston and the International Citizen Award Dinner. She also coordinated promotional events for the Sony Reader Digital Book Campaign, and Professionals in the City-Boston, a socializing and networking organization.

From 2004-2008, Katherine worked at the University of Maine in Orono, in the Office of Admissions, where she managed departments of Events, Visitor Relations, and Call Center for prospect outreach. In addition, she was responsible for program development, budget planning, and staffing operations.

Katherine earned her B.S. in Business Administration, with a concentration in management at the University of Maine, in Orono.
