Prior to Brandeis, Ellen was a director at Claremont Consulting Group, working with newly-funded biotechnology and media companies to develop marketing and distribution strategies.  From 1989 to 2001, Ellen worked at high technology companies, including management of manufacturing operations and the marketing of professional services for Xerox Corporation.  Previously, Ellen was an investment banker in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at Bear Stearns & Co. Inc. Ellen earned an M.B.A. in Decision Sciences from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. in Economics and History from Northwestern University.
