The Forum maintains a research fund supported by its charter members and periodically sponsors independent research projects on priority areas identified by the Forum's Board. The Forum is committed to research that is:

• Independent, objective, and non-partisan.
• Timely and relevant to the current policy and practice environment.
• Focused on solving real-world problems.
• Conducive to partnerships between industry and research organizations

In its first solicitation (download RFP), the Forum allocated $800,000 to support research on disease management program components and how they can be implemented most effectively.
